Can’t Decide on a Class? Allow Yourself the Luxury to Learn
It’s easy to get into the habit of over-analyzing the options instead of making a decisive choice. Consider how much time and energy you spend thinking about which class to register for, especially if, in the end, you don’t sign up for anything. Why not just go for it? You’ve got nothing to lose. Take Action 1. Browse the current class offerings and list those that spark your interest. Forget about whether or not you should take a certain class. What would you love to learn more about? 2. Prioritize your list based on which classes resonate with you most, whether for personal development, business growth, or a much-needed creative outlet. 3. Take your top choice and check your calendar to see if you are free. If so, go for it! Register online and commit it to your schedule. Otherwise, go on to your second choice. There are so many great options; you really can’t go wrong. Your ROI Of course there are other ways to decide on a class: you could consult the I Ching or your horoscope, write the options on slips of paper and draw one from a hat, flip a coin, or call your best friend to see what classes you can take together. Whatever works… As the philosopher Eric Hoffer said, “In times of change, learners inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.” There is no better time to invest in yourself than right now! |
